Welcome to Kangaroo Rideshare. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kangaroo Rideshare mobile applications, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kangaroo Rideshare.
Drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and meet all local regulatory requirements.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Services Provided
Kangaroo Rideshare connects riders with drivers for transportation services. We act solely as a technology platform and are not a transportation provider. All transportation services are provided by independent drivers.
4. Payments
Riders agree to pay all fees associated with their rides, including applicable taxes and surcharges.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors.
Drivers authorize Kangaroo Rideshare to collect ride fares on their behalf and remit payment after deducting service fees.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Services to:
Engage in unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
Harass, threaten, or endanger the safety of others.
Interfere with or disrupt the functioning of the Services.
Drivers also agree to:
Drive safely, follow traffic laws, and maintain proper insurance.
Keep their vehicle clean, roadworthy, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Riders may cancel a ride before it begins, subject to cancellation policies displayed in the app.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.
Kangaroo Rideshare reserves the right to adjust fares or fees due to technical errors, fraud, or misconduct.
7. Limitation of Liability
Kangaroo Rideshare provides the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We are not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of the Services or interactions between riders and drivers.
We do not guarantee availability, timeliness, or error-free operation of the Services.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice, if you:
Breach these Terms.
Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website or app. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Melbourne, Australia.
